Welcome to REMDUBLIN.com 3.0, the third chapter in R.E.M.'s continuing adventures in Dublin, Ireland. Remdublin.com 1.0 was devoted to the band's working rehearsals at the Olympia Theatre back in July 2007 (for that content please visit the archive section). REMDUBLIN 2.0 served as a microsite for R.E.M.'s 2007 CD/DVD release, R.E.M. LIVE, which captured the band on their 2005 world tour at the Point Depot in Dublin on February 26th and 27th. The current installment, REMDUBLIN 3.0, picks up with the July 2009 digital release, RECKONING SONGS FROM DUBLIN, a 4-track digital download (available at iTunes), released in conjunction with R.E.M.'s 25th anniversary RECKONING DELUXE EDITION and in anticipation of the forthcoming release of R.E.M. LIVE FROM THE OLYMPIA, a 2-CD set due out in October 2009, featuring 30-plus songs recorded during the aforementioned working rehearsals, produced by the acclaimed Jacknife Lee.
